You call or request a visit
Give us your insurance card, your child's date of birth, and the reason you are calling. That is all we need to start checking. Booking the evaluation does not commit you to anything.
We verify your benefits
We contact your plan and ask the questions that matter for speech and feeding: whether it is a covered benefit for your child, whether a physician referral or prior authorization is required, and what your share of the cost looks like.
You hear the real number
We tell you what we found before your first visit, including anything the plan will not pay for. If the number is not what you hoped, you hear that too, and you decide from there.
Quoted plainly, before you commit.
Plenty of families choose to pay directly, whether their plan carries a high deductible, caps the number of visits, or simply will not cover feeding therapy at all. Our self-pay rates are flat and quoted to you before you commit to anything, not printed on a bill weeks later. If your plan pays for out-of-network care, we can also give you a superbill: an itemized receipt with the codes your insurer needs, which you submit yourself and your plan reimburses at whatever rate your policy allows. We cannot promise what an insurer will send back, but we can make sure the paperwork leaving our office is right.
