Speech and Feeding Therapy Services in Lafayette
Two services. That is the whole list, and it is deliberate. Hope Therapy does speech therapy and infant and pediatric feeding therapy and nothing else, so the therapist sitting on the floor with your child has spent her working life on exactly the thing that brought you here. Every plan starts with an evaluation instead of an assumption. Every session is one on one, with you in the room and coached alongside your child, because the practice that decides the outcome happens at your kitchen table, not ours. Start with whichever of the two sounds like your week.
Two services, both done properly.

Speech Therapy
Evaluation and one-on-one therapy for speech sounds, language, fluency and literacy, infants through the teen years.

Infant and Pediatric Feeding
Latch, bottle, spoon and table food. Support for tethered oral tissues, food aversion and the mealtimes that fall apart.

One therapist, your child, and you in the room.
Most of what goes wrong with speech and feeding care is not the technique. It is the attention. Here your child sees the same therapist each visit, one on one for the whole session, and you sit close enough to see what she does and to hear why she does it. That matters, because the time we get on the calendar is not what changes anything by itself. The repetitions in the car, the bottle at 2am, the Tuesday dinner that usually ends badly: that is where progress is actually won, and you are the one standing there for all of it. So we coach you as deliberately as we work with your child. You will know what to practise, what to listen for, and what should shift next. What you will not get is a timeline invented to sound reassuring. We give you an honest estimate at the evaluation, then we show you the progress as it arrives.
